Master Instructor Kristina Hwang
Master instructor and 8th degree black belt in TaeKwonDo and Black Belt in Krav Maga. Kristina descends from a line of Korean martial artists. Her father, 9th Degree Grandmaster Jack Hwang, was raised in Korea learning the arts of kendo, karate, tae kwon do, hapkido, jiu-jitsu, judo and numerous others. Grandmaster Hwang is considered one of the founders of tae kwon do in the United States. Master Hwang is a multi year state and national tae kwon do medalist with over twenty years of teaching experience. She directed martial arts schools, tournaments, self-defense courses, women’s assault prevention seminars, and law enforcement and military hand-to-hand combat seminars.
2nd Degree Black Belt in TaeKwonDo & 2nd Degree Black Belt in Krav Maga through Krav Maga Alliance under John Whitman. Began his training in Krav Maga in California. He has received addition training including advanced gun defense and close quarter combat. He has traveled to Mexico City to teach Krav Maga. He has also worked with local Palm Beach County battered women groups as well as The Benjamin School teaching self defense techniques to High School Seniors.
